Dog sought after biting runner south of Woodland

An off-leash chihuahua bit a jogger last Saturday and is now being sought by Yolo County Animal Services officials. Sgt. Matt Davis of the Yolo County Sheriff's Department reported on Tuesday that a woman was running on the gravel path along Farmers Central ditch headed west of West Street just south of Woodland when she was bitten around 10 a.m. Davis reported the victim was on a run when she passed an older woman walking two chihuahua's off leash.
