Crime Stoppers is offering a $500 reward for information that helps them make an arrest. Police found 70-year-old Rafael Graham Monday evening near the 1400 block of North Monroe St. in Decatur with a gunshot injury.

Oct 20 - The Illinois Department of Employment Security released data that said the unemployment rate remained unchanged, but non-farm payrolls have decreased over the month. Based on data provided by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, IDES released data that said non-farm payrolls decreased by -10,800 jobs over the month.

Decatur sanitary waste spill on roadway

South Wheatland Fire Department and The Decatur Sanitary District worked Friday morning to clean up a bio solid spill. The Sanitary District told WAND News a private contractor was moving the waste from the sanitary district to a private farm when it leaked hundreds of gallons on to the roadway.

Woman receives probation for aggravated criminal sexual abuse

A Decatur woman who pleaded guilty to an aggravated criminal sexual abuse charge has been sentenced to four years of probation. Court records show Rebecca Wilhelm, 28, entered the guilty plea and was sentenced on October 19. As part of the plea agreement, two other aggravated criminal sexual abuse charges were dropped.

Decatur Police responded to a vehicle accident Sunday night before midnight that ended with a driver being arrested for drunk driving. Amy DeLise and her 9-year-old daughter Allison were asleep in a room at the front of the house when Amy heard a loud crash.
