The victim's body was found this morning on the side of Highway 80, in the 2600 block of East Marshall Ave. He was found lying in front of Jennings Scrap. Police say the 18-wheeler rolled down a hill and before the man could get back inside the truck it ran him over.

After a neighbor spotted a fire at a home on Mary Ellen Drive in Longview early Tuesday morning, he was able to wake the people inside up, so they could escape. A Fort Worth man and his girlfriend have been charged with murder in the strangulation death of a woman whose burned body was found in a wooded area along a rural road in East Texas earlier this month. Carlton Lamar Grant, 37, of Fort Worth and Lindsey Jo McFadden, 29, of Longview were being held without bail Tuesday in the Upshur County jail; each faces one count of capital murder.
