2 killed in 3-car collision in Flagler County

Two men were killed and four others were injured in a three-car crash in western Flagler County Friday evening, the Florida Highway Patrol reported. An armed, suicidal suspect has barricaded himself in his Ormond Beach home and police are advising motorists to stay out of the area until the situation is resolved, authorities said. Ormond Beach police responded around 2:10 p.m. to 279 Roosevelt Drive, located one block west of the intersection of Fairview and South Ridgewood avenues, according to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.

An Ormond Beach man was killed Thursday when a crash ejected him into traffic on Interstate 10 in Duval County, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The crash that occured at 11:05 p.m. on Thursday near Baldwin City killed Mehdi Firouzadj, 63, of Ormond Beach, investigating troopers said.
