Diana Lynn Hayward, 60, of Port Huron was killed in the two-vehicle crash that happened about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. MARYSVILLE - Police have identified a woman who died late Wednesday in a traffic crash on Range Road between Cuttle and Davis roads in Marysville.

Detectives investigating death of 3-year-old boy

Rescue crews were called to a residence in the 3700 block of Lapeer Road in Port Huron Township shortly before 9 a.m. Monday to a report of a child not breathing, according to a statement from the sheriff department. At this time, no cause or manner of death for the 3-year-old has been determined, according to the statement.

Rescue crews convince man to climb down froma

A man climbed the steel girders of the north span of the Blue Water Bridge early Tuesday morning but later was convinced to come down under his own power. Port Huron Fire Battalion Chief Mark Ford said the incident happened about 2:40 a.m. The man climbed about 30 feet up the bridge and told firefighters he did not want to be rescued.
