Teen gets 20 years in Dollar General robberies

A judge sentenced a Bentonville teen to 20 years in prison today for his role in the robberies of two Dollar General stores. Chance Rowe, 17, was charged with two counts of aggravated robbery.

I-49 construction to disrupt traffic

Work on a $27.7 million project to widen Interstate 49 will require daytime lane closings on Arkansas 72 in Bentonville and on I-49 in Rogers and Bentonville through the end of the month, the Arkansas Department of Transportation said. Paving work on Arkansas 72 will require the eastbound and westbound lanes to be alternatively closed between McCollum Drive and McClain Road from 8 p.m. to 2 p.m. daily.
