Center sets fundraiser

The Seymour Senior Citizens' Center is $11,000 short of its goal to purchase a walk-in freezer for its newly remodeled kitchen on the west side of the city square. And the center has a partner in the project as The Seymour Bank will match all funds raised at the aforementioned dinner set from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 5. "Everything raised will go toward buying the freezer," explained Linda Carpenter, director of the local senior center.
