Pastor accused in Sunday school robbery is held on $75K bond

An Ohio judge has set bond at $75,000 for a man described by police as a gun-wielding pastor who helped rob a teacher during a Sunday school class at his church. The Blade in Toledo reports a judge set matching bond amounts Tuesday for 49-year-old Anthony Morris and his 46-year-old wife, Zelda.

Man accused of seriously injuring child

An East Toledo man accused of causing severe injuries to an infant was arrested Tuesday, according to documents filed in Toledo Municipal Court. Zachery Shadix, 25, of the 1300 block of Felt Street is charged with felonious assault and endangering children, both felony offenses.

A Toledo man who broke into a number of downtown law offices and other businesses was sentenced to eight years in prison and ordered to pay nearly $28,500 in restitution. Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Lindsay Navarre also ordered that when Curtis Quinn, 31, of the 1200 block of Champlain Street is released from prison, that he be on community control for five years, first spending six months in the Correctional Treatment Facility followed by six months in the Lucas County Work Release Program then 90 days on electronic monitoring.
