Andrew Brian Magallanez made a last-minute motion to seek a new lawyer for a new-trial motion at a hearing Friday in San Bernardino Superior Court, according to court records.

2 L.A. men arrested on suspicion of burglary tied to 2 Colton Rite Aids

Two Los Angeles men were arrested after burglary alarms sounded at a pair of Rite Aids in Colton Saturday morning, with police saying they pursued the suspects along three Southern California freeways. Michael Hobbs, 24, and Darius Sutton, 27, were arrested on suspicion of evading police, burglary, and conspiracy to commit crime, according to online booking records.

Danny Castro Jr., 25, was stabbed several times in the upper body near Hilltop Drive and Barton Road on May 19. The investigation led detectives to four people, and on Thursday, June 7, they were arrested. The suspects are Christopher Martinez, 35, of Indio; David Coons, 29, of Lake Arrowhead; Jyssica Wier, 31, of Colton; and Hector Agramon, 30, of Colton.
