A substitute teacher who ran for Volusia County elections supervisor two years ago was arrested Wednesday on accusations he molested a 15-year-old male student. David Lee Davis, 62, of Port Orange, was charged with lewd or lascivious battery on a victim younger than 16. He was taken to the Volusia County Branch Jail and held without bail.
