KU student victim of sexual battery near Memorial Stadium in Lawrence, police say

The female student reported that at 10:40 a.m. Friday, she was walking in the area of the 1100 block of Louisiana Street when an unknown male touched her and then ran west towards Memorial Stadium, said Deputy Chief James E. Anguiano, of the KU public safety office, in a news release.  The student said the person who committed the battery is a white male, with average build, standing 5 foot 7. He is 20 to 30 years old and has black hair with a large beard. He was wearing a pink/salmon shirt and boot cut blue jeans and a light green baseball cap.
