As community members continue to press for answers regarding the death of a man who was arrested by National City police, some have raised concerns about the city's police oversight board, which has not convened since late last year. The Community and Police Relations Commission, which is tasked with reviewing certain police investigations, has not held a meeting since November because it hasn't convened a quorum in recent months, according to city staff.

Residents at the Volunteers of America Renaissance Treatment Center in National City during a specific time period may have been exposed to hepatitis A, the County Health and Human Services Agency reported Friday.
