Courthouse roof repair to end Friday

A nearly $200,000 repair to the Hancock County Courthouse is expected to wrap up Friday, a county official says. Brad Armstrong, president of the Hancock County Board of Commissioners, said the contractor of the project, Noblesville-based Blackmore and Buckner Roofing LLC, agreed to finish the repairs by Friday, less than a week before the annual Riley Festival in downtown Greenfield from Oct. 4 to 7. A large crane sits in front of the Hancock County courthouse while repairs to its roof were underway.
