Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man and woman involved in a shooting at a liquor store last week. About 7:40 p.m. Friday, a man entered 3-Ring Wine & Spirits, 15267 Hesperian Blvd., and bought a bottle of liquor before leaving the store, police said Tuesday.

The City Council has decided not to place a parcel tax that would increase funding for police and firefighters on the ballot this November, aiming instead for a special election in June of next year.
