Leaders for the city of Sterling Heights will travel to Colorado next week in an effort to find the best way to redevelop Lakeside Mall for the future. That Urban Design Plan will be a key part of forming the planned unit development which would be the redevelopment of Lakeside Mall.

Motorcyclist dies in crash on M-59

A motorcyclist died in a crash on eastbound M-59 around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday in Rochester Hills, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office. Police say a 63-year-old Warren resident was driving her 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle in the center lane when a 2012 Hyundai Accent, driven by a 21-year-old Sterling Heights resident, changed lanes and struck the motorcycle.
